In addition to this, we have placed a high priority in our commitment to the local community in which we operate. A large proportion of the houses we own are used to provide accomodation for retired employees at discounted rents. We also recently provided farming land which has been developed into affordable housing at Leaden Roading. We continue to support local charities and appeals, especially those with a bias towards agriculture and education.
Strutt and Parker Farms also plays a strong role in trade associations and societies. We are active members of the National Farmers Union, Country Landowners Society, Young Farmers and our regional Flood Defence Commitee, as well as local societies, parish councils and round table.
The company’s strategy is managed through it’s Board of Directors and communicated to the family shareholders through a Shareholder’s Council.
